An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) to work within a Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Hothfield, Kent. This company is an expert in specialist mental health, neuro-rehabilitation and complex care across the UK. They have over 30 year’s practical experience and are a trusted partner to the NHS, commissioning services and local authorities.
This facility is located in Ashford, Kent and specialises in intensive rehabilitation for people in the early stages of recovery from a brain injury right through to residential care. The multi-disciplinary team includes nursing, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, clinical psychology, occupational therapy, and rehabilitation assistants – the team is also further supported by weekly sessional visits from a consultant in rehabilitation medicine. As a Registered Nurse you will be taking responsibility for a specific part of the unit and delivering the very best level of care. You will oversee all day-to-day care activity in your designated unit or floor within the hospital, including maintaining accurate records for each of our client’s residents whilst consistently delivering the very highest care standards. You will be able to demonstrate strong clinical competence, excellent communication skills and experience of a team working approach to the deliver of individualised patient care.
You will be provided with a structured and thorough 2-week induction programme which will include various training courses. All nurses will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where you can see clear pathways to progression within the care home/company. You will also be given to opportunity to access training opportunities to develop and enhance your nursing skills – receiving ongoing support from your manager.
