Job Description

Registered General Nurse - Dialysis Unit                
Permanent,  - 37.5 hours per week            
£23,051 - £28,000 plus excellent company benefits            
Monday - Saturday - no nights and no Sundays

Our client is a world leading renal services organisation with a number of dialysis units across the UK, providing the highest quality in state-of-the-art renal dialysis services. They also work in partnership with the NHS so you will get to work across both sectors.            
Reporting to the unit manager you will be responsible for assessing the care needs to the patients, taking into account current and previous lifestyle. You will assess, plan and implement the appropriate treatment to patients ensuring it meets clinical requirements and patients work, family and social needs.    
You will work with the team to ensure an adequate care plan is implemented. Part of your role will also involve providing psychological support to patients and advising their families of further support that may be required. You will have an innate ability to quickly identify any issues or concerns and act accordingly. You will also play a role in mentoring junior members of staff and carry out any ad hoc duties required by more senior member of staff.          
This is a part time role working 132 hours over a 4 week period or 37.5 hours. Our dialysis clinic is open Monday to Saturday and you will be on a rota to undertake shifts within the following hours 6am to 6.30pm.    
Renal experience would be an advantage however full training is being offered. Part of this role involves having an innate attention to detail with a strong ability to work well under pressure. You will adapt easily to situations and be a good communicator within a team. Computer competency would also be a vital part of the role.
