Registered General Nurse - Dialysis Unit                      
Renal Services (Renal experience not essential)                      
West Byfleet
Permanent, Full Time - 37.5 hours per week                      
£23,051 - £28,000 plus excellent company benefits                      
Monday - Saturday - no nights and no Sundays

Client Information:                      
Our client is a world leading renal services organisation with a number of dialysis units across the UK, providing the highest quality in state-of-the-art renal dialysis services. They also work in partnership with the NHS so you will get to work across both sectors.                      
We are looking for a trained Nurse to work at their Dialysis Unit in West Byfleet. Previous dialysis experience is NOT essential as full training will be offered; however, you will ideally have at least 12 months' post qualification experience. Nurses are assigned to patients, therefore when they come into the clinic you will spend time with them during their dialysis treatment giving you the opportunity for more one to one patient care and truly developing relationships with your patients.                      
Reporting to the unit manager you will be responsible for assessing the care needs to the patients, taking into account current and previous lifestyle. You will assess, plan and implement the appropriate treatment to patients ensuring it meets clinical requirements and patients work, family and social needs. You will work with the team to ensure an adequate care plan is implemented. Part of your role will also involve providing psychological support to patients and advising their families of further support that may be required. You will have an innate ability to quickly identify any issues or concerns and act accordingly. You will also play a role in mentoring junior members of staff and carry out any ad hoc duties required by more senior member of staff.                    
The unit operates from [Click here to apply]hrs therefore you will work shifts between these hours.  No nights shift or Sundays are worked                      
To be considered for this role you will have at  least 1-year experience working in a care setting. Renal experience would be an advantage however full training is being offered. Part of this role involves having an innate attention to detail with a strong ability to work well under pressure. You will adapt easily to situations and be a good communicator within a team. Computer competency would also be a vital part of the role.
