Job Description

Our client is currently searching for a Staff Nurse - Haematology Unit for their fast-paced team in London.

Role and Responsibilities:

Assess, plan and deliver care to meet individual patient and family needs in accordance with agreed protocols (SOP's/policies)
Demonstrate impeccable clinical practice at all times and respond appropriately to deteriorating patients, changing patient condition and safety triggers e.g. NEWS 2, SBAR
Work productively within a team and promote a multi-disciplinary approach whilst recognising own responsibility and accountability.
Participate in research based care and other practice development initiatives.
Contribute towards clinical audit and quality initiatives towards the continual improvement of patient care and experience.
Provide a welcoming, caring and safe environment for all patients, families and carers regardless of race, culture or beliefs.Skills & Experience:

Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin.
Post registration experience within haematology or oncology setting or equivalent.
Intravenous chemotherapy administration experience.
Mentorship and Preceptorship experience, or willingness to work towards this.
Motivated and forward thinking individual with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
Evidence of self-development and service improvement and a willingness to continue this.Benefits:
