Job Description

The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust provides acute treatment and care for a catchment population of around 500,000 people in Bath, North East Somerset and West Wiltshire. We provide 759 beds and a comprehensive range of acute services including medicine and surgery, services for women and children, accident and emergency services, and diagnostic and clinical support services. The CQC recently rated the care we provide as outstanding .

We have exciting opportunities for Band 5 nurses to join our growing team.

The Respiratory Unit is a dynamic and stimulating 33 bed Medical Ward, specialising in Respiratory conditions. The unit includes a 4 bedded High Care bay providing specialist care and monitoring for patients requiring Non Invasive Ventilation therapy.

Our valuable learning environment is committed to supporting your career progression through the RUH Preceptorship Programme, ongoing professional development and the opportunity to advance clinical skills in High Care within a supportive and rewarding area of practice.

In return we are looking for compassionate and committed nurses dedicated to working in partnership to support our patients and their families. Together with our multidisciplinary team we are continually motivated to develop the highest standards of care whilst upholding the RUH Trust values.
