Staff Nurse


Key Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Staff Nurse to join our friendly surgical team at a fantastic Private Hospital in Kent. As a Staff Nurse you will have the exciting opportunity to work with some of the region's top consultants within a modern and up to date environment.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum / £11.79 - £14.35 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week. (negotiable depending on experience )

Hours: 37.5 - Full Time

Contract Type: Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for a small number of surgical patients. You will be joining a friendly team who work closely with colleagues in theatres, pre-assessment clinics and outpatients. You will be required to take responsibility for managing a caseload of patients, providing advice after discharging and delivering exceptional nursing care. Due to the nature of the ward, you will be working with a diversity of specialities, making each day unique and rewarding.

There are a number of progression opportunities within the role, such as mentorship training and courses in specific relevant areas to the position.

The successful candidate is required to have the following:

  • NMC Registered Nurse.
  • Understanding of quality of care and to maintain the highest standards.
  • Experience of working in an acute hospital environment.
