General Surgery  
Harrow-London  
Permanent, FT - 37.5 hrs        
Up to £30,000 plus enhancement

Client Information:  
Our client is one of the UK's leading private hospital groups with locations throughout the UK. They currently offer treatment to patients undergoing medical and surgical interventions. They operate within state of the art facilities equipped with the latest technology. Their hospitals are able to offer the most complex surgeries to patients with exceptional aftercare both inpatient and outpatient.  
       
Opportunities:        
We are currently looking to recruit some Staff Nurses to work on surgical wards of the hospital located in Harrow.  
   
Working alongside the Senior Staff Nurses on the ward you will be responsible for ensuring the right standard of care is provided to all patients at all time. Your responsibility will cover all aspects of acute patient care, often including comorbidity and post-surgery recovery. You will be responsible for ensuring that the patient has received the right advice and education in relation to their procedure, hospital stay and recovery time. You will have an innate ability to quickly identify any issues or concerns and act accordingly. Part of your role will involve receiving patients from ICU and HDU and monitoring complex conditions. Working as part of the team you will be competent across Venepuncture, Cannulation and Phlebotomy, carrying out these tasks on a daily basis while maintaining a safe environment for patients. You will also be assigned other ad hoc duties as required by senior members of staff  
     
       
To be considered for this role you will have at least one years' experience working in a surgical setting. You will have experience with IV, Phlebotomy and Cannulation however training can be offered in certain areas if necessary to enthusiastic candidates. You will be a caring and compassionate nurse with strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. Working as part of a team you will have excellent communication skills and be a good team player.
