Palliative Care Nurse - St Johns Wood, London   Role - Palliative Care Nurse   Hours - 37.5 hrs long shifts days, nights, weekends on rotation Location - St John's Wood Permanent FT Salary -  Up to £32k pa + enhancements for unsocial working hours (around £4k per year) Staff Nurse's with acute and nursing home experience very welcome to apply!   My client treats over 3,000 terminally ill patients and their families every year, for free. They have exceptional clinical environments and are committed to delivering the highest quality patient service. Patients face a range of conditions, including cancer, respiratory disease, heart failure and HIV.   You will need to be ambitious, flexible and energetic to join this fantastic team. A particular interest in providing the best possible care to patients within a specialist palliative care setting, would be what you need to possess to be a successful member of the team. Your Key Responsibilities
  • To ensure the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence based, individualised patient care
  • To develop high standards of skilled nursing care and professional practice through evidence- based practice.
  • To work as part of a multi-professional team, involved in the holistic assessment of patients and their carers enabling patients to maximise their potential and promote self-management.
  • To utilise post-registration experience in palliative care, oncology, HIV or the management of patients with complex long-term conditions.
