The Ambulatory Assessment Unit (AAU) is a rapidly developing service based at the John Radcliffe Hospital. The AAU provides ambulatory alternatives to admission by offering a rapid consultant led multidisciplinary management that is equivalent to an inpatient care looking after ambulatory, frail and older patients.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated to join our friendly and dynamic team. The successful applicant will be pro-active and motivated to assist in providing the highest standard of care we deliver. Whilst treating our patients with compassion, dignity and respect. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt with the service needs of the unit. The post holder will have responsibility for triage of patient referrals, timely patient interventions and safe discharge.

We work closely with our colleagues at Rowan Ambulatory Unit (RAU) at the Horton General Hospital which operates the same as AAU based in Banbury. Development opportunities are available and can be discussed at interviews. Full time and part time hours available.
