Job Title: Staff Nurse

Key Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Staff Nurse to join our friendly surgical team at a Private Hospital in Norwich. You will be working in a wide variety of specialisms and you will be able to develop your clinical skills in a modern and supportive environment. We have modern Theatre suites, a state of the art Outpatient service and 2 wards, comprising of 70 beds, covering a range of specialities including Surgery, Daycare and HDU, which provides a dynamic and stimulating environment for highly motivated nurses.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum / £11.79 - £14.35 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week. (negotiable depending on experience )

Hours: 37.5 - Full Time

Contract Type: Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:

We're looking for nurses who have surgical ward experience. This role will form part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will work closely with consultants and the theatre team in addition to the radiology, pathology and outpatient departments. Part of your duties will include maintaining effective channels of communication with patients and relatives, administering medication and wound care. The hospital has a fast turnover and thus, flexibility and versatility is essential on a daily basis.

The successful candidate is required to have the following:


  • NMC Registered Nurse.
  • Understanding of quality of care and to maintain the highest standards.
  • Experience of working in an acute hospital environment.
