Successful candidates will be invited to an Assessment Day on Friday 15th February 2019 at Carew House in Bodmin. Please note this will be either a morning or afternoon session to be confirmed.

An opportunity for a  qualified registered nurse has arisen in Bodmin Hospital based on Anchor Ward and Woodfield Stroke Rehabilitation Unit.

The post will  provide the opportunity to participate in nurse led care and make contributions to a variety of care pathways. On Anchor ward we are dynamic in our care and offer the opportunity to work in palliative care, medical, surgical and orthopaedic cases as well as a community hospital alcohol detox bed and the amputation care pathway. The Woodfield Stroke Unit provides stroke rehabilitation for patients closer to home in a therapy led unit delivering care within the stroke pathway. Patients are received from the acute provider as well as from home, and often require the skills and knowledge of a competent practitioner, delivered utilising evidence based practice. We are a nurse led unit supported by local GPs.

Full and Part time posts are availbale and involve internal rotation, weekends and Bank Holidays. The successful applicant will be based on Anchor Ward but will be expected to work flexibly within the hospital.

Bodmin community Hospital has an Outpatients Department, Harbour Ward, Woodfield Stroke Unit/Anchor Ward and a Minor Injuries Unit. We provide step up and step down care and range from acute to rehabilitation.
