Key Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a enthusiastic and dedicated Staff Nurse to join a fantastic Private Hospital in Reading working with some of the regions top consultants. We are looking for nurses with a Surgical background who strive for excellence. Working with a wide variety of specialisms you will be able to develop your clinical skills in a modern and supportive environment.

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum / £12.30 - £14.35 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week. (negotiable depending on experience )

Location: Reading

Hours: 37.5 - Full Time

Contract Type: Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for a small number of surgical patients. Other duties include supporting junior members of the workforce and working closely with all members of the MDT. There is a great emphasis on work life balance around the rota's and flexibility to work, along with the passion and commitment to meet patients expectations. We have a number of preceptorship nurses in the department, therefore we have great mentorship opportunities available.

The successful candidate is required to have the following:

  • NMC Registered Nurse.
  • Understanding of quality of care and to maintain the highest standards.
  • Experience of working in an acute hospital environment.
