Staff Nurse Paediatric Complex Care


Full Time Long days/nights/weekends

Salary up to £39,240 per annum DOE incl. shift allowance plus benefits

We have a brilliant opportunity for a Paediatric Staff Nurse to join the team with our client based in central London. The role will play a vital role in delivering on expert patient care.

As a Registered Staff Nurse working in our clients Spinal and Complex Surgical care you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care to ensure that our patients are cared for in a safe, compassionate and comfortable environment.

As a Staff Nurse you will meet physical, psychological and spiritual needs by effectively communicating with the patient, their families and your colleagues.

Staff Nurse duties will include undertaking extended roles such as venipuncture, cannulation and phlebotomy, contributing to the ongoing research-based care and other practice development initiatives.

As a Staff Nurse you would recognising the signs and symptoms of a deteriorating patients and initiate early interventions in a calm and co-ordinated manner.

Skills & Experience:

  • NMC Child Registered Nurse (RN Child / RSCN) with immediate paediatric life support
  • Understanding of Safeguarding issues
  • Ideally experience working within a paediatric HDU/Spinal
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
