Therapeutic Learning Disabilities Support Workers
Full-time permanent position
Day and Night shift contract available.
Fareham and Bedhampton
£9.52 per hour
Potential for interviews for people with personal experience or people with a demonstrable interest.
About the homes:
This is a national LD based company offering support work to LD, Complex and physical service users in Bedhampton and Fareham both based in single location. They are looking for Support Workers to provide care and support to Adults with Asperger’s, Complex needs, physical difficulties and Autism.
About the role:
These are brand new roles in new homes for new clients, be part of this journey from the beginning.
You will operate within one residential location and work in a local community setting, providing hands on care to the service users you support, so you can expect to have total involvement with everything they do. No day is the same.
Must be flexible to work various shifts and every other weekends and also share the sleep in’s when required.
Night shifts for Therapeutic Care / Support Workers could be 8pm to 8am and 10pm to 8am, you must be flexible.
Key responsibilities of the Support Worker
The Support Worker will oversee their own clients and must be familiar with autism spectrum needs or similar even if on a personal basis. You must be commitment to providing quality care and support, with a passion to make a difference. to vulnerable adults lives. You will also be involved in assisting with activities, in-house and in the community.
