This role is in based in the Thurcroft area of Rotherham, with some travel to Sheffield Hallam University via public transport. You will be part of a team providing care & support for a young man with a Spinal Injury. The Gentleman is a university student, so the you won't be busy during the hours of study & will not be required to attend lectures (would ideally suit a fellow student or someone who enjoys a good book!) He is very independant & one of the key responsibilities is to promote that independance.
Would suit a candidate that is familiar with a university / educational setting & someone that doesn't mind being around younger people.
Experience with Bowel care, catheter care would be ideal however all training will be provided. Would also suit animal lovers too as the family do have a dog & preferably a non smoker.
We are looking to engage with Carers & Support workers that would be interested in Full & Part time hours for this role.
We have Weekday & Weekend shifts available
Days 7:00am - 6.00PM
Sleep Nights 9:00pm - 7:00am
Waking Nights 9:00pm - 7:00am
