Support Worker
Location: Talke, Stoke on Trent
Shifts: Needs to be flexible to work across 7 days, on a shift rota basis covering; early, late and night shifts - 8:00am - 3:00pm, 3:00pm - 10:00pm and 10:00pm - 8:00am
Pay Rate: £10.00 per hour
At Peacock Hay, we offer support to seven adults with a learning disability, autism and associated complex needs.
The individuals we support often have communication needs and we use a wide range of effective communication tools and systems to help them. Everyone is supported to develop their existing abilities and we take a person-centred approach, including each person in the way the home is run.
Role Overview: As a Support Worker at Peacock Hay, you will work with people who have varying degrees of learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs, supporting them to lead as fulfilling life as possible, incorporating both therapy based activities and social based activities. Each person has an individualised plan of activities that is meaningful and appropriate to their needs and preferences.
Requirements:-Support Workers in this location, experience isn't essential as all new staff will receive relevant training tailored to the needs of the service.
