Are you interested in building a career in the field of autism or psychology? Could you support children with learning disabilities to live a life that makes sense to them?
You'll be working with four young people aged 12 - 19 at our children's home in Leighton Buzzard. All these young people enjoy going on country walks, to the cinema and out on adventures. Could you help develop their independence and life skills as they prepare for adulthood?
David* loves adventure, planning trips to new places, as well as painting nails and going shopping. Andy enjoys going bowling, being independent and learning new skills. Rebecca is very affectionate and would love you to spend time with her going trampolining and to the park. She also enjoys exploring new things. Holly is very independent and wants assistance to fulfil her ambitions.
You'll be someone with initiative and warmth, who thrives in a constantly changing environment and is able to work as part of a close-knit team.
