Job Role: Support Worker
*Pay Rate: £7.38-7.83

About the job: Wood Dene and Ross Dene in Outwood, Wakefield are currently recruiting full and part time support workers to support people with varying degrees of learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders and mental health needs.
Wood Dene and Ross Dene (the Denes) offer a transition service for people between the ages of 18-64. We are also able to offer emergency placements during times of crisis. The service provides round-the-clock support to up to 16 individuals with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders, learning disabilities and mental health needs. We support people with all aspects of everyday life from personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, attending health appointments, support with finances, social activities and outings.
We are currently recruiting people who have a full UK driving license in order to drive the company vehicle and preferably people with experience in the care sector. You would be required to work a mix of early and late shifts and this would also include working alternate weekends. Early shifts are 7:30-14:30 and late shifts are 13:30-21:30.
