Are you in a bit of a rut at work? Thinking there must be something that plays better to your strengths and where you look forward to Monday morning? Are you a real people person with a passion for making a difference?
Join our exciting new team in Abingdon and learn what a really satisfying career can look like. You'll support three young men; Ben, Joe and Gary* to live gloriously ordinary lives.
Ben has a great sense of humour and is full of chat and banter, although he does like some peace and quiet. He is a good swimmer and enjoys swimming with other people. He likes trains – both watching them and travelling on them – shopping and going out for walks. He’s a fast walker!
Joe is a man who knows his own mind and how he wants to live his life! He loves music and music videos and going out for a drive. He enjoys splashing in the shallow pool at the leisure centre and going out for a pub lunch – he LOVES chips!
Gary loves people watching ….. and loves food! He is a beautiful, warm human being who loves horses, music, nature and art.
The role can be full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time (various), and you'll take your turn on a rota which includes days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. We pay a competitive salary of £11.00 per hour, with 6 weeks a year annual leave (includes Bank Holidays).
You don’t need any particular experience or qualifications, but you will hold a full manual driving licence (the men have their own cars), be a ‘people person’, creative, up for a challenge, flexible and have bucket loads of initiative and great resilience.
We provide all the formal training and day-to-day support you will need, all free of charge.
