Salary: up to £17,550 + £57.50/sleepover (usually 1 per week)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Operating since August 1999, Inshore Support Ltd provides support for individuals with the most complex needs, so that they may attain personal independence, choice, responsibility and adopt the values that underpin the individual planning system.

We provide homes that are built and furnished to our clients' needs. These are maintained by our own maintenance and gardening teams working alongside local contractors. Our training department can offer and deliver any relevant training courses that are required for each of our clients' needs. The delivery of the high levels of support within our homes has enabled individuals to become full and valued members of their local community, and achieve a greatly enhanced quality of life.

Purpose of the Support Worker:

A support worker supports individual service users with learning disabilities including challenging behaviour to undertake every day activities and functions.

Support workers are required to support individual service users to attain personal independence, choice and responsibility in a homely environment in which the support worker is required to demonstrate unconditional acceptance and tolerance.

A support worker must be able to integrate individual service users into the local community life and activities by establishing and maintaining existing relationships, promoting friendship with and personal development of the individual service users.

Requirements of the Support Worker:
* No experience required for this role as in house training is provided
* NVQ's available
