Support Worker at MacIntyre Careers

Support Worker

MacIntyre Careers St Albans, Hertfordshire Full-Time
Apply on company site

Do you enjoy your job, or are you interested in a career change? Perhaps you want something more fulfilling. Join us and support people with a learning disability to enjoy life.

You'll be part of our friendly team of support workers based in Wheathampstead, a village located between St. Albans and Luton, where we support five adults aged 18 to 60 who each have a learning disability.

We have a lot of fun here! Everyone likes to get out and about as much as possible and we regularly go for walks and visit the cinema. You'll join in with other popular activities such as visiting the local zoo and the ice skating rink. Closer to home, we make the most of the scenic village with frequent shopping trips that normally end in a local coffee shop or pub.

At home, people enjoy sensory activities utilising our range of specialist equipment. Not everything is high tech though - sometimes you just can't beat reading a good story!

This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week. You'll take your turn working shifts on a rota basis which include days, evenings and weekends.
