Learning Disabilities Support Workers required in Braintree to work with Young Adults and Adults
Your new company
You will be working with a provider of care for Adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Challenging Behaviour. This lovely home is located in a picturesque location on the outskirts of Braintree.
Your new role
You will be supporting adults in a small residential environment to live fulfilled, independent lives. As well as helping them to participate in activities in the home, you will also accompany them into the community, to attend appointments and to help them establish themselves within society. You will be responsible for supporting them with everyday life, including personal and emotional care. Your job as a Support Worker would be to promote independence and build trust and companionship for these service users.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have a minimum of two years experience of working with Adults with Learning Disabilities however we would consider candidates with social care experience which may fall slightly out of this category. You will be a caring individual with a passion in helping others to live a fulfilled life. You will also need to hold a full driving licence due to the location of this role.
