*Support Workers Required for a new Acquired Brain Injury Service*



Upton, Wirral.



Pay: £8.10 per hour



Full / Part Time & Bank opportunities available

Role Overview:

Due to our continuing growth, Voyage Care are excited to be further recruiting in the Prenton area of Birkenhead.

Our new service will facilitate a Supported Living environment for 5 adults with an Acquired Brain Injury.

Although you will be supporting the "People We Support" with everyday living tasks, the individuals we support regularly access activities within the local community, so confidence in lone working is essential for this role.

Although we are keen to attract Support Workers with previous experience who can hit the ground running.

We do provide a full training programme that is specific to the needs of the individuals we support and would equally encourage applications from individuals who are willing to undertake this training and are eager to begin a career within the Social Care sector.

Requirements:


  • Driving Licence - desired although not essential
  • Knowledge of or employed experience of supporting people who have an Acquired Brain Injury would be advantageous
  • NVQ Level 2 / 3 or Care Certificate - is desired. However, with no experience: a keen attitude towards your own development and training within Social Care is ideal.
  • The ability to communicate clearly, listen intently and be non judgemental is essential for this role.

**Should your employment with Voyage Care terminate for any reason within the first 3 months of your employment start date, the full cost of the DBS will be repayable back to us. Deducted from your final salary



You'll join the team working on a rota that includes early, late, weekend, night and Bank Holiday shifts.
