Job Description

Reablement Support Worker - Sunderland

Available ASAP

£8 - £9 p/h

3 month ongoing contract

The Reablement at Home Service and Telecare Service are both responsive teams who visit customers in their own homes who may require care following a period in hospital or a decline in their wellbeing. We will visit for a time limited period and assist to set goals to promote independence and confidence. The Telecare Service will also respond if the customer presses an alarm for support.

We have a number of positions available as follows:
37 hour positions - a full driving license is required and the use of a company vehicle during shifts will be available.

37 hour positions - non-drivers will be considered

The services operate a set rota featuring the following shifts:
Example: 7am - 3.30pm, 1.30pm - 10pm and alternate weekend working (no overnight shifts are required).

Essential Skills:
•A positive caring outlook
•Have excellent written and communication skills
•The ability to work shifts (including evenings weekends and bank holidays)
All CV's should be supported by two satisfactory references and a current DBS disclosure.
