We are looking for experienced Carers with experience in providing Complex Care to join our local team.
Prestige Nursing + Care Manchester are the leading 'Complex Care' provider to private Case Management companies and CCG's. Owing to the excellent service quality we provide our Clients we need Female and Male Support Workers to help continue our expansion in the Greater Manchester area.
As an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team you'll be helping a variety of male and female Clients with various Complex care needs, particularly Acquired Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries
Experience of working with these types of clients is desired, but not essential, however we do need people with 6 months Care / Support Worker experience. If required, we'll provide you with specialist training for working with the client.
However, we are looking for people who are reliable, self-motivated and who can act on their own initiative. You'll also need to have hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport as the clients are throughout Greater Manchester.
As you can see, the work and the locations are varied, challenging and rewarding, which will help you grow and develop as a Support Worker.
As the work is mainly funded through private Case Management, the shifts tend to be several hours long and the rates of pay are excellent, from £8.50 / hour for weekdays, with higher pay for weekends and nights rising to £17.06 for Sunday evening..
In addition, we also pay holiday pay, which increase these rates by 12% to a very competitive £9.52 / hour for weekdays rising to £19.12 for Sunday evenings.
Please note, these are the minimum rates of pay and depending on the contract they could be higher.
