Team Leader Young Adults Residential Service £20 - £21k per annum!

Role: Full Time
Location: Wednesbury
Service: Complex Disabilities/ Brain Injury
Salary: £21,700 (DOE)

Are you an experienced senior support worker or current team leader looking to further your career in a supervisory role for a well-regarded and forward thinking care provider?

Amber Mace are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join the team at a residential service in Wednesbury. The service cares for young adults with learning disabilities, autism and additional complex needs, so experience within these areas would be preferable!

As Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of support workers, you`ll help ensure the smooth running of the service, making sure that the learning disabilities of the people you support don`t inhibit their ability to live a varied and fulfilling life!

The role of Team Leader:
• Creating and managing staff rotas and timesheets
• Ensure the implementation of high standards of care
• Develop own knowledge and practice relative to continuous service improvement
• Supervise and mentor the nursing team
• Supervise the induction and training of new starters

Skills/Qualifications required of the Team Leader:
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Experience working as a support worker/team leader
• Ideally experience working with young adults with complex care needs
