Job Role: Team Leader
Full time - 40 hours
Pay: £9.00 per hour
Millstream House is an established home which offers 24 hour residential care. Our residents are living with Huntington's disease and other conditions such as ABI and physical disabilities. We also offer respite support.
Overseeing Support team, our Team Leader closely support our Home Manager and Coordinators and will be responsible for promoting, managing and co-ordinating care plans, and you'll play a central role in team leadership.
We are keen to attract experienced staff who can "hit the ground running" and want to progress their career development and invite candidates to apply who can demonstrate the following:
You will be required to monitor support staff in effective record keeping and team management. The team leader will have great attention to detail to oversee the daily recording of the service. From allocating shifts and training days to overseeing recruitment and induction, you will be central to service delivery and you'll take a hands-on approach to care management too.
Desirable you have an NVQ 2 or NVQ 3 Health Care qualification
Experienced in senior positions within a relevant care setting you'll be familiar with appropriate regulations and legislation, skilled in budgeting and administration, and you'll be ready for early responsibility. In return we'll support you to work towards a relevant Care and Management qualification.
