We are in an exciting time of development for East Sussex Healthcare MSK services. Having established a growing AP service and developed our MSK care pathways, we are now looking to recruit a Band 7 Team Lead physiotherapist to work at our Eastbourne District General Hospital site.
If you are an experienced, innovative band 6 or 7 musculoskeletal physiotherapist looking to develop both your leadership and clinical skills, we would like to hear from you.
Successful candidates would demonstrate expertise in clinical assessment and treatment, in conjunction with strong leadership skills to support our leadership team of AP’s, team leads, consultant physiotherapist and clinical leads, on the delivery of MSK care pathways.
Innovation is key to the development of our services and there is a variety of opportunity to develop both your leadership and clinical skills in this role to support the clinical development of others, and the service. With the wider support and mentorship of the leadership team, you will be at the forefront of service development, implementing the trust vision and values, evaluating and reporting on service outcomes and delivery, and disseminating best practice to be shared across the service.
Your role will also encompass working closely with the clinical and AP pathway leads on the continuing evolution of our MSK upper limb, lower limb, and spinal care pathways,(including work with our specialist hydrotherapy,rheumatology, paediatric and other specialist care areas). You will be expected to support delivery of In-Service Training programmes and service wide improvement projects to ensure we are working to achieve the trust 2020 vision of outstanding care. We have close links with the University of Brighton and post graduate education is actively encouraged. The trust also offers a strong in-house leadership programme and in this role you will be expected to take embrace the leadership development opportunities we can offer you.
East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust currently delivers a musculoskeletal physiotherapy service within 10 outpatient settings across East Sussex. To ensure consistent delivery of care pathways, equality of access for patients and to provide all staff with access to development opportunities across the East and the West of the service, this post will require the successful candidate to travel for meeting, training, supervision and development opportunities.
