£24,000 - £28,000 / year
THE COMPANY: This global company excel and continue to grow thanks to innovation, product quality and customer service / backup that is second to none. They provide a range of diagnostic endotoxin instruments, testing kits, equipment, consumables, software and calibration / validation services and continued success and expansion means that they are currently seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced scientific professional to provide support and training to their customer base. This is a national position (as one of two people doing this role) and candidates must be flexible and be able to travel, stay overnight etc (once pandemic restrictions allow).
THE ROLE: As Technical Support Representative the successful applicant will play a key role in the company's commercial team and be mostly providing onsite and remote product training, troubleshooting, installation, validation and calibration services. Most time will be spent in contract research and hospital labs, liaising typically with lab technicians and managers, research scientists and also the company's sales team. Due to the specialist technical nature of the role, candidates must have a scientific degree and preference will go to those with some form of face to face commercial experience. Alternatively, those who are working in a laboratory and looking for an exciting new challenge are also encouraged to apply. Full product training will be provided.
The Package for Technical Support Representative:
Basic: £24,000 to £28,000
Car: Generous £850 per month allowance
