Theatre Bookings Manager
up to £40,000 DOE
We have just registered a Permanent Theatre Bookings Manager for someone to manage the team responsible for the optimal allocation of theatre bookings on a day to day basis for a established cosmetic surgery clinic in Chelsea.
To succeed at this role, you will need to have strong experience in the cosmetic sector, and a comprehensive understanding of the wider hospital landscape, with a particular focus and expertise in theatre capacity management and utilisation.
You will be entrepreneurial, an independent thinker, unafraid to voice their opinion and execute decisions on behalf of their team, as well as able to build trust in their decision-making abilities with management. You must also be able to demonstrate an energetic leadership style and be able to shape a team around them with management's full support.
This is a key role in sourcing additional capacity for the company as the company scales up from its existing single site operation.
Given the seniority of this role, you will need to have 5+ years of direct theatre scheduling experience in the cosmetic and/or hospital sector with extensive experience working with consultants and building consultant diaries. You must also have a comprehensive understanding of the independent hospital sector, including average surgery times, pricing, and contingency planning.
You must have Professional/Advanced experience of Microsoft Excel as this is vital to success of role - excel, pivot tables, building reports etc. You must also strong communication and persuasion skills.
