3 great things about this hospital:

  2. Commitment to growth – the organisation has a solid foundation of capability, with good levels of investment; there is a great opportunity to grow their complex and diverse facilities to offer more specialist services for their patients.
  3. Grounded in governance – Patient safety is central to the hospital achieving an overall ‘Good’ rating with Health Improvement Scotland with excellent levels of patient satisfaction. This was the first hospital in Scotland to be awarded JAG accreditation for its Endoscopy Service.

The Hospital Director stated, This hospital has huge potential. It is well-led, the teams are engaged and responsive to change and there is a sense of excitement amongst the workforce and this includes Consultants”.
