Scrub Nurse or ODP    
Permanent, FT - 37.5 hrs            
Up to £32,000 plus enhancements

Client Information:          
Our client is a leading private hospital group with locations across the UK. Their site in Hertfordshire currently offer treatment across a range of specialties including Endoscopy, Orthopaedic Surgery, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cosmetics, ENT, Vascular, Gynaecology, Urology, Plastics and Oral Max Fax. The facility is situated in a tranquil setting with beautiful wooded surroundings and is easily accessible from neighbouring towns and counties.  
We are currently looking to recruit some Scrub Nurses to work in the Theatre department of the hospital.        
Working alongside the Theatre Manager you will be responsible for assessing, planning and implementing the right standards of care to all patients who are undergoing surgical procedures. Your day to day will involve preparing the equipment and instruments according to the needs of the patient and the surgeon's specifications, updating the surgeon's preference cards, ensuring all equipment is checked prior to use, reporting any faults immediately and working as part of a cohesive team. You may also be assigned other ad hoc duties as required by senior members of staff      
To be considered for this role you will have at least 1-year experience working as a scrub nurse. Ideally you will be competent in scrubbing across multiple specialties. Experience of working across multiple specialties is desired. Part of this role involves having an innate attention to detail with a strong ability to work well under pressure. You will adapt easily to situations and be a good communicator within a team. Computer competency would also be a vital part of the role.
