Theatre Practitioner (Scrub), ODP or Nurse

Salary up to £33,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits and training

About the role

We are looking to recruit a number of experienced or trainee Theatre Practitioners (scrub) to join our friendly operating theatre team.

Our theatre teams also work closely with some of the region's leading consultants and are exposed to the latest innovative, evidence -based clinical techniques. Our real driving force is our ability to invest in our people, as we support our Theatre staff to build their skills through mentoring and formal training.

We prefer our theatre staff to be as multi-skilled as possible, so ideally you will be able to work across scrub, anaesthetics and/or recovery, but we would also consider someone newly qualified and open to training across these disciplines. The working pattern for the role covers a variety of shifts so flexibility is essential.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assess patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.

  • Plan delivery and evaluate care to meet patient's health and wellbeing

  • Maintain effective channels of communication with patient's

  • Prepare operating theatres, run theatre lists and perform scrub duties

Who we're looking for

  • HCPC / NMC registered

  • Understanding of scrub roles and theatres

  • Advanced Life support certificate or willing to attend course
