Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetics

Key Details: An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated Theatre Practitioner who specialises in Anaesthetics to join our outstanding and supportive theatre team located at a fantastic private hospital in Manchester.

The Key details are:

Location: Manchester - within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park

Salary: £24,000 - £31,000 per annum / £12.30 - £15.895 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week. (Negotiable DOE)

Bonus: Annual bonus provided.

Hours: Full Time- 37.5 hours

Contract Type: Permanent

Further Details about the role:

You will be required to assist in Consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism. You will assess patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.

You will be required to explain the role, responsibility, accountability and scope of practice for the assessment of a group of patients requiring perioperative care.

You will work across anaesthetics in a range of specialisms.

Person Specification:

You will be a qualified Operating Department Practitioner and be registered with the HPC. You will have experience working in teams and with minimum supervision. You will also be competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through practitioner qualification and additional training.
