Theatre Practitioner, Plymouth, Full Time, up to £29,000per annum + Benefits

The Key Details Are - I am actively looking for several Theatre Practitioners to join a Private Hospital located in Plymouth on a permanent basis. Applicants must have either Scrub, Recovery or Anaesthetic skills.

Location: Plymouth - within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park

Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 per annum / £13.33 - £14.87 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week

Hours: Full Time Available - 37.5 Hours per week.

Further Details about the Role: I am looking to recruit several Theatre Practitioners to join a Private Hospital located in Plymouth who will Assess plan, implement and evaluate patient care without direct supervision, in Anaesthetics, Scrub or Recovery departments. You will ensure, under the direction of senior theatre and medical staff, that patients receive the support and information relevant to their condition. You will liaise with senior staff to ensure that all working activities comply with professional, ethical, hospital or trust and locally adapted theatre guidelines. You must understand the importance of maintaining and developing your personal knowledge base with regards to current clinical developments and professional issues affecting theatre practice, ensuring any practice is evidence based and contributes to the enhancement of patient care. Use your clinical knowledge and expertise to provide high standards of skilled clinical care to patients, whilst promoting equality and dignity always. Maintain competence in the essential skills necessary for the delivery of care in theatre and clinical settings.

Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicants for this opportunity to possess either NMC or HCPC registration without restrictions. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally at all levels with clients, colleagues and patients. Post grad experience is a must. Be able to work autonomously as well as within a team. Excellent Clinical knowledge which is evidence based. Excellent communication skills. Up to date knowledge in area of practice. Clear DBS and able to obtain excellent references.
