Theatre Practitioner

Based in a state-of-the-art Hospital, which practices some of the most advanced treatments on the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology, you'll be provided with fantastic development opportunities including Surgical First Assist.
As a Theatre Practitioner your duties and responsibilities will include:
Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, assisting patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures including ENT, neurological, orthopaedic, laparoscopic, ophthalmic, gynaecology and urology.
Preparing the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery in relation to instrumentation, equipment and supplies required for specific operative procedures, ensuring waste is kept to a minimum
Ensuring the Patient Record is completed in a timely and accurate way
Running a theatre list without supervision
Performing anaesthetic dutiesWho we're looking for:
HCPC registered ODP or an NMC registered Nurse with an Anaesthetic module
Ideally, you will have ALS or ILS, however training can be provided
