Salary: Up to £38k plus benefits
Hours: Full Time Role 37.5 per week (various shifts) Part Time hours also available
MediTalent are recruiting on behalf of a state of the art, private hospital in the Northwood area of London for a Theatre Practitioner/ODP specialising in Orthopaedic Scrub. This 42 bed hospital boasts 2 operating theatres across both surgical and oncology wards including a 5 bed day unit and 7 chemotherapy day rooms.
You will be working as a Theatre Practitioner/ODP specialising in Orthopaedic Scrub joining a friendly and well established team. Your role will be to plan and deliver a safe quality of care for patients during their perioperative phase of care and to support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the operating department and to develop and enhance the skills of others and self. You will ensure that patient safety checks are carried out in accordance with the policy and that all practitioners adhere to the policy, achieve agreed objectives and demonstrate BMI behaviours at all times.
This is a Full Time role 37.5 hours a week part time hours are also available the role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
The ideal candidate will be a registered practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration and have a mentorship qualification. ILS, Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence and be proficient in the use of a PC including the use of software and systems.
