Location: Hitchin
Salary: £30,500-£37,000 plus benefits dependent on experience
Hours: Full Time Role 37.5 per week (various shifts)
MediTalent are recruiting on behalf of a state of the art, private hospital located in the area of Hertfordshire for an Scrub Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner. This 24 bed hospital boasts 4 operating theatres and is located in tranquil wooded surroundings and provides a peaceful environment to aid patient recovery.
You will be working as a Theatre Practitioner/ODP joining a friendly and well established team. Your role will be to plan and deliver a safe quality of care for patients and to support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the operating department and to develop and enhance the skills of others and selves. The ideal candidates will be an Operating Department Practitioner/ Theatre Scrub Nurse with experience in multiple specialties and a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment or with minimum supervision as required.
This is a Full Time role 37.5 hours a week the role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
The ideal candidate will be a registered practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions, ALS/EPALS certificate desirable and have proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently. A positive and flexible attitude is also required with a warm considerate and empathetic character. Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) and Previous experience with orthopaedics scrub desirable but not essential.
