Job Description

Theatre Scrub Practitioner

I am currently looking for a Registered Nurse RGN or ODP operating Department Practitioner for a Theatre Practitioner position for a private hospital based in Bromley, Kent and specialises in surgical procedures including Orthopaedics, ENT, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Cosmetic Surgery and Urology due to their outstanding success and 1st class patient care they are needing to expand their staffing. If you are an RGN or ODP have experience working within these areas We want to hear from you.

The hospital has Theatres and a Minor Ops Theatre and is able to perform a wide range of minor to complex operations across a number of specialties including Orthopaedics, ENT, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Cosmetic Surgery and Urology.
The role on offer is a full time post and there is a flexible shift pattern in place.

To be considered for the role you must:
Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
Have ILS
At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in Theatres specialising in scrubbing for orthopaedics and spinal cases.

The Job Role:
Deliver safe quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care. To support, coordinate and actively assist in the management and organisation of care within the operating department & Provide quality planned care for patients by ensuring all team members deliver quality patient care by providing appropriate clinical and managerial leadership.
Lead the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
Lead the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.
Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge / skill, and expertise.
