Theatre Urology Team Leader | Theatres | Norwich | Full Time | 37.5h/pw | Band 6/7 |

Spire Norwich have an exciting opportunity for a Theatre Urology Team Leader, to join our well established theatre team. You will provide exemplary planned care for patients requiring perioperative intervention while managing a team.

You will also ensure the team delivers effective patient care by providing appropriate clinical and managerial leadership, maximising effective theatre utilisation.

Duties and responsibilities:

To ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures. Working to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users. To promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients

  • Analysing staff and theatre management problems and coming up with viable solutions
  • Working as a perioperative practitioner in and across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Challenging consultants to influence evidence based practice

Who we're looking for:

  • Current NMC or HCPC registration with no restriction on practise
  • Minimum of 3 years recent experience of working within hospital settings
  • Supervisory/Management qualification (Desirable)
  • Analysing staff and theatre management problems and coming up with viable solutions
  • Recent experience working as a perioperative practitioner within urology
  • Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes
  • Share evidence based practices with colleagues to enhance service and standards
  • Experience of working in partnership with consultants and participating in creating innovative solutions for the service
