Trauma and Orthopaedic Therapy Technical Assistant
Hours: 37.5 per week over 7 days
Base: St Peter's Hospital, Chersey, Surrey
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Therapy Technical Assistant to join our dynamic, friendly and supportive team of specialist physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person with physiotherapy or occupational therapy assistant experience, good communication skills and the ability to work with people as part of a multidisciplinary team. The therapy team treat a wide variety of orthopaedic trauma conditions such as, fracture neck of femurs, elective TKR's/THR's and Ilizarov surgery.
Non-clinical duties will include; cleaning and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment and treatment areas, and stock maintenance. Administrative support duties will include discharge letter writing, reporting on class utilisation and managing email correspondence. You will be supported to develop your clinical skills through formal supervision and appraisal.
You will be required to work your hours over a seven day period
