Ultrasound Account Manager
I am working alongside a world-renowned medical imaging company that are looking to hire an Ultrasound Account Manager to help sustain and continue their growth in the UK medical imaging market. This company are going through a period of huge growth and have witnessed 50% growth year on year for the past 3 years. They are looking to grow the team further and are keen to ensure they have the best team to take their market-leading products to market.
The role
Ultrasound Account Manager – North West (field-based role)
OTE is £75,000, private medical care and an option for a company car or car allowance.
As an Ultrasound Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for winning new business and maintaining existing accounts through developing a strong understanding of the ultrasound product portfolio and building long-term relationships with customers. If you are talented at both opening new doors and then developing those accounts further, then this will be ideal for you.
You will be part of a well-established and high-performing team who are responsible for managing a world-leading and extensive ultrasound portfolio. You will be working closely with dedicated Applications Specialists, receiving support from them with pre and post-sales to help you deliver a strong sales output for your region.
The requirements
You’ll ideally have experience within the ultrasound sector as well as strong sales experience with the ability to meet targets, as well as:
- Degree level educated
- Excellent understanding of the medical imaging market
- Able to develop strong sales strategies and implement them tactically
- Experience in selling into the NHS supply chain
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to operate credibly when customer-facing
- Capable of managing own diary and operating in a field-based role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- A fast learner who presents a proactive approach, open-minded and independent
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Valid driver’s licence and willing to travel frequently within your territory
