A large nursing home East of Manchester City Centre is currently looking to recruit an RGN, RMN or RNLD qualified Registered Nurse to work as Unit Nurse Manager.

The large home offers elderly frail, dementia and disability nursing care packages to older adults and provides an excellent environment for staff and residents alike.

What is offered and details of this Unit Manager position:

• 44 hours per week
• Fantastic hourly pay rate of £18.00 per hour (NHS Band 6 equivalent)
• Days only
• Supportive working environment with well-established team in place

As Unit Nurse Manager, you will take responsibility for the clinical services and staff leadership of a small unit within the home, and will coordinate, manage and monitor care planning and delivery.

What our client is looking for in a Unit Manager:

• Qualified Adult Nurse/RGN, Mental Health Nurse/RMN or Learning Disabilities Nurse/RNLD
• Up to date NMC registration
• Confident undertaking clinical assessments and in all aspects of care management
• Passionate about delivering a high-quality service that promotes the independence, choice and dignity of service users
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an approachable and friendly nature
