Job Title: Unit Nurse Manager - Nursing Home

Salary: £16.25 per hour ( £20,280 - £35,490 ) negotiable depending on experience, qualifications & capabilities

Hours: Part-time or Full-time ( 24, 36 or 42 hours per week )

Shifts: Days or Nights available *Paid Breaks*

We are recruiting for a Unit Nurse Manager to work within a reputable nursing home based near Marple in Stockport. This 60 bedded home provides care for residents aged 55 and over, whose needs are associated with old age, dementia and mental health conditions.

The Home Manager is ideally looking for a Night Nurse on a full-time basis (36 hours) but can be flexible depending on the candidate. You will be paid for your breaks. There are plenty of opportunities to undertake additional training courses on top of the extensive in-house training

As a Unit Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients in your care are treated as individuals, allowing them to live independent, fulfilling lives. You will undertake all aspects of nursing care including administering medication, updating and writing care plans, as well as supervising junior members of staff and maintaining good communication to all members of staff.

Person Specification: To apply for this role, you must be a Registered Nurse ( RGN ) with a valid and up-to-date NMC registration. You will need to have your own transport, but mileage costs will be covered.
