Job Title: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon - NO OOH

Due to continued growth and the opening of a brand new branch in Lincoln they a now seeking a small animal Veterinary Surgeon (min of 1 year UK experience) seeking a new challenge.

You will have the opportunity to share your hard-won know-how within a team of like-minded veterinarians, while further developing your skills.

My clients practice offers a rewarding environment and the clinical freedom that only a top independent can.

You will have developed confidence and a solid grounding in delivering clinical care in a first opinion environment and possess natural communication skills; able to promote their ethos of high standards, and drive clinical excellence and outstanding client service.

As a key member of their experienced and bonded team, they will ensure that you will be able to develop and hone your own clinical skills – in a very friendly and enjoyable environment.

My clients also encourage regular collaboration between their vets across the group.

Facilities at this brand new branch currently include well-equipped consult rooms, op theatres, dedicated dental suite, separate cat and dog wards and waiting areas, digital processing, ultrasound, air dental and Abaxis laboratory equipment.

The practice is situated in Lincolnshire; with excellent transport links to nearby attractions such as the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Doncaster Racecourse & shopping opportunities at the local retail outlet centres.

Easy access to Doncaster, Leeds and East Midlands airports.

​The Industry: Veterinary, Vet, Surgeon, Medicine, Small Animal, Pet, Exotics, Animal Health, Animal Nutrition, Animal Feed, Companion Animals

The Job Role details:

An exciting opportunity has arisen at my clients fabulous veterinary practice for a full time veterinary surgeon (would consider a 4 day week).

Average working week of 38hrs.

Same allocated weekday off every week.

No OOH

Aim of the role:

My client is looking for an enthusiastic, confident, team player, cheerful vet who is willing to get stuck in.

Key Responsibilities:

To be a full time veterinary surgeon.

Duties will include consulting, surgical procedures, minor procedures, client liaison, working up cases, caring for hospitalised animals, treatment plans and visits.

Four or Five day week

No OOH

​Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:

MUST be a qualified RCVS registered Vet.

MUST be an enthusiastic, confident, team player, cheerful and vet who is willing to get stuck in.

IDEALLY looking for at least 1-2 yrs of UK experience or more, however a new graduate would be considered.

IDEALLY would live within 45mins of the practice.

​Additional Information:

25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Generous CPD allowance

Pension scheme

38hrs per week.

Salary package:

£35,000 - £60,000 depending upon experience
