Waking Nights Support Worker (FEMALE ONLY)
£8.35 an hour plus fantastic benefits
Are you looking for night-time work? Could you support people with learning disabilities when they are wakeful during the night?
You'll join us as a Waking Nights Support Worker at our registered home in Glenfield, Leicester. We have both part-time and full time positions available. Let us know on your application form how many nights you were looking to work and we'll discuss further at interview. This role is only open to FEMALE applicants due to the operational requirements of the service.
You'll be available when the people we support are wakeful at night and check at regular intervals to ensure they are comfortable and getting a good night's sleep ready for the next day. You will need to provide support with intimate care or medication. This is an important role to make sure people feel safe and emotionally reasurred at all times and not vulnerable during the night.

What we need from you
Firstly, you don't need experience to become a Support Worker but it's not easy. The work can be demanding and challenging at times but no 2 nights are the same and the reward of seeing YOUR personal impact is incredibly inspiring and it's something you'll never forget.
As long as you have the passion and drive to want to make a real difference, we'll teach you the rest. With your key attributes and our training, together we can deliver the best possible support.
