Ward Manager - RMN / RNLD - ASD ward or Adult acute ward

I am currently looking for a Ward Manager ( Registered Nurse RMN / RNLD - ASD ward or Adult acute ward)

for private mental health hospital in Bradford.

As Ward Manager - RMN / RNLD - ASD ward or Adult acute ward)

you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing priorities, delegating available resource effectively and ensuring documentation is completed
  • Working with the nursing and medical team to provide care for adults with severe mental health needs; including acute mental health, and dual diagnosis with a secondary diagnosis on ASD (autistic spectrum disorder)
  • Administering medication
  • Reviewing the care needs of patients, analysing trends to ensure clinical reports are maintained accurately and care is delivered accordingly based on each patient's requirements.

As a Ward Manager -RMN / RNLD - ASD ward or Adult acute ward)

you will have:

  • A Registered Nurse RMN / RNLD qualification
  • Current registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK
  • The ability to use your skills to develop care plans and assessments
  • Experience working in a similar environment with either mental health, learning disabilities, or autistic spectrum disorder
  • Team Management experience
  • A good understanding of the care programme approach and risk assessment
