An exciting opportunity has arisen to manage and lead the team of the Respiratory Ward on the Acute site at Royal Albert Edward infirmary

We are seeking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic, experienced and caring individual who will lead the team on Ince Ward, putting the patient at the heart of all decisions and ensuring the smooth and effective running of the Respiratory ward.

Ince Ward is a 27 bedded male / female ward caring for Acute Respiratory patients and also those with long standing disease. It’s a busy environment working 24/7/365.
This post requires a dynamic and forward thinking leader, who will provide strong visible leadership for the team.

Dedicated to delivering a high standard of care you will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as you will be working closely with GPs, Consultants, Doctors and multidisciplinary teams.

Specific knowledge and skills will be required to support and develop the nursing team in the care of patients requiring specialised respiratory care including intensive therapies, supporting the development of care for this patient group and provide a managerial lead for change in practice and development of services.

All candidates will be required to evidence their certificates to the interview panel.

On-Call
